PRESS DAY AT 9PR

My secret spots in Copenhagen!

We absolutely looooove Copenhagen and are always looking out for new exciting restaurant, cafés and places to experience. So in the next few weeks, we will share our secret spots in Copenhagen with you guys, cause you are probably just as interested in new places as we are. 

We start off with our beautiful Showroom Manager Nanna Skovholm who here has revealed her favorite spots in Copenhagen.

What is the best thing about Copenhagen?

One of my favorite things about the 'Copenhagen feeling' is the fact that one moment you can be in a crowded place, and the next moment a place with fewer people where you can sit quietly and relax. Sometimes, you can feel so big and at the same time so little – I think that is quite amazing!

Where do you shop the most?

Undoubtedly Companys Original! I always pass it on my way home from work, and it is SO easy to get temped by their beautiful and creative show windows.

Which place do you have to see in Copenhagen?

I am just a tad bit royal so bear with me here, but I think that everybody MUST see the stunning collection of crown jewels on Rosenborg Castle, and of course the Queen and her palace.

Where do you go to get the absolutely best brunch in Copenhagen?

Café Norden near Storkespringvandet! It is a bit expensive, but soooo delicious. You get freshly squeezed orange juice, pancakes with syrup, fresh homemade bread and various marmalades.

Where is your favourite place to dine?

The French restaurant Bistro Pastis in Gothersgade is a favourite of mine. Their french fries are addictive! Everybody should try them!..

Favourite drink? And where to get it?

I love Cava – And one of the best places to get it is properly on the cosy Condessa Restaurant and Bar near Højbro Plads. We’ve had lots of fun times at that place!

If you had to show a tourist around in Copenhagen, what would definitely be on the list?

All the old constructions and houses in the old narrow streets of this lovely city, and of course Nyhavn which is a must-see attraction. On a warm summerday, Nyhavn is an amazing place to get a beer or wine.

How would a perfect day in Copenhagen for you look like?

It should be a real Copenhagener day with sunshine all day long. I would start the day drinking coffee with my best girlfriends. Next on the list would be shopping, shopping, and shopping! I will end the day sunbathing in Kongenshave with lots of fashion magazines and fruits.

Where is your favourite quarter?

I really love ”The Latin quarter” in Copenhagen K, first of all because I live there, but I also adore the versatile environment you find there. There is room for both small unique vintage boutiques, transvestites and other quirky things - it is a place where you can be exactly who you want to be without wondering eyes and prejudices.

What is your absolutely favourite spot in Copenhagen?

I need something green to relax. So Kongens Have is the perfect spot for me. It is easy because it is nearby my apartment, and there is always lots of space so that you can be yourself.

Where do you find romance in the city?

I find romance in the narrow streets after sunset! Sunset is one of the most romantic, beautiful and relaxing things to me.

Please welcome our new brand - An Ounce - to the 9PR family!

Hello everyone,As you may have noticed, we have received a few newcomers in our showroom that we are very happy to be representing! One of them is the recently launched Danish fashion brand An Ounce whose AW14 collection now hang in our showroom. Pssst.. and we also had the joy of presenting the brand for the very first time, at the 9PR Show. The fall collection, called Surfaces, is characterized by clean cuts and simple silhouettes combined with high quality fabrics and a very sophisticated yet youthful look. The brand is also experimenting with the idea of combining different materials such as silk and leather which adds a dimension of rawness and edge to the look. One reason for why we think An Ounce will stand out from other brands on the market is just that simplicity mixed with luxurious fabrics and raw cuts to a great and affordable price. Some of our favorite pieces from the collections is shown in the collage below, those leather leggings are definitely to die for - don't you think? An Ounce brand new AW14 collection will hit the stores in August and by then their own webshop will also be open. Until then you'll just have to wait but we promise you - it will be so worth it!

Friday Cravings for Your Home

It's Friday and also the last day of February ;) To celebrate that spring is knocking on your doorstep we've prepared a new blog post, this time with inspiration for your home. When the sun starts to shine through your window, we suggest you choose your interior in white or cream colors like this amazing sofa from Design by Us combined with a retro-looking Espresso machine from Nespresso. Mix that with other interior details in lovely spring pastels like pink or purple. Design by Us has a few gorgeous hanging lamps in light green and light purple colors, just like the one on the picture and that also hangs in our own showroom ;) However, if you can't afford to buy a new couch right now, the trick is to get some fresh flowers and put them in a hanging globe, like this one from Kastrup Design and then serve your coffee on a small plate from Missemai with a motive of a tree in blossom. That really adds on to the feeling that spring is just around the corner.

Weekend Getaway

It's Friday and we dream about spending the weekend in a cabin somewhere relaxing. Going for walks, and drinking hot coco (with lots of marshmallows, surely) with someone special, while the rain pours down outside. And for that occasion we have chosen the outfits below, with inspiration for both you and your loved one.

For the women we have chosen a comfi and colorful look - and even though it's still cold outside it gives us a feeling of spring being just around the corner. The knit is from 3.1 Phillip Lim found at Stylebop.com and adds a really feminine look paired with the slim jeans from Hugo Boss. The look gets more of an edge with the chunky leather boots from Samsøe & Samsøe and the long black jacket from Envii. To keep warm, complete the outfit with the knitted hat and gloves both from Ganni. Finally you can use the beautiful bag from Markberg for a light carryon.

On the men's side we've chosen a relaxed look with a pair of bleached jeans from Strellson, combined with a chunky and colorful knit from Henri Lloyd. As the weather right now provides us with all kind of surprises we thought this black rain jacket  from Samsoe & Samsoe would be a reliable choice together with a steady pair of boots, also from Samsoe & Samsoe. GOSH Event at 9PR

This Friday we hosted an amazing GOSH-event for some of our favourite bloggers. It was a great night filled with amazing makeup, yummi food and great company :)

We had Stine, Rikke and Christina from Gosh over to introduce and tell us about the new products. We absolutely loved it! One of our favourite products was the new CC-cream which is an illuminating foundation which is colour correcting to make redness etc. dissapear.

The GOSH-team did our makeup, so we looked perfectly ready for a great night out in town.

One of our favourite restuarants; Gorm's had prepared the most delicious food for us.

And Serenity Cupcakes spoiled us with beautiful GOSH-cupcakes. Just perfect!

.Jeg startede bloggen i 2009, som et sjovt sideprojekt til mit arbejde og jeg var især fascineret af at den kunne fungere som et konstant opdateret CV. Jeg bliver ved med at udvikle min blog og derfor bliver det også ved at være spændende. Jeg elsker at formidle mode, skønhed, kage og alt det jeg oplever gennem mit eget univers.

Klart sæt, helst i print - det ser mega sejt ud. Og så tror jeg ellers bare at jeg vil prøve at blive bedre til at lede efter de der helt gode ting, som jeg kan have i min garderobe for evigt. Ikke fordi de skal være kedelige, men når kvalitet, æstetik og design hænger fungerer, så er det en klassiker for mig uanset tendenser.

Varme jakker! Danmark er jakkeland #1. Jeg vil gå efter en varm og sej dunjakke, en mere ladylike lidt ala Isabel Marant og så en rigtig sej blazer jeg kan have på indendørs.

.Jeg bliver aldrig træt af de mere kropsnære silhuetter, men det er alligevel forfriskende med alle de skørter der dukker op hver sæson. Et skater skirt eller en nederdel med lidt vidde er så flot til et par flade herresko eller bare nogle seje sneakers.

.Jakkelandet - hvordan kan jeg leve uden en pink dunjakke?? Jeg vil bruge den når jeg skal gå tur med min sorte puddel Winston, vi kommer til at se mega seje ud på Vesterbro.

.Sko er lidt min ting, men jeg går ofte efter det samme. Disse er seje i farven og hælen gør dem meget anvendelige. Jeg vil bruge dem til den sorte nederdel eller et par jeans og min ynglings tee.

.Jeg er en ægte frossenpind, så uld er helt sikkert at finde i min efterårsgarderobe. Denne cardigan er sej og stor og blød, hvilket ser flot ud med en delikat top indenunder - og så kan jeg stadig holde varmen.

.Prikker og sæt er ret meget lige i øjet. Det her sæt er virkelig nice og afslappet, men samtidig anstændigt nok til at bruge med nogle små laksko og en blazer.

WHIITE SHOW SS13

Modeugen er skudt i gang og onsdag d. 8 august kl. 15.30 var Københavns fashionistaer samlet ude hos Whiite på Østerbro for at se designerens bud på SS13 looket.Ved ankomsten blev man mødt af at fint bord, hvor forfriskninger blev serveret… mmm.. MUMS!

Hurtig blev der fyldt og der var god tid til at modebranchens creme de la creme kunne mingle og catche up…Palle fra Alt For Damerne nyder en lille én før showet bliver skudt igang...Skønne Birger er klar til kamp...De smukke piger fra Woman, Charlotte Sandgren og Clara...Stylisterne Sofia Astby og Marianne Chloe giver et smil til kameraet mens de nyder deres pinke drink...Så starter showet…  READY – SET – GO!!!La finale...Designeren, Frederikke Hviid modtager et meget velfortjent klapsalve!!...Arman fra Whiite smiler efter et vellykket show... "KLAP DIG SELV PÅ SKULDEREN, ARMAN... GODT GÅET!!"Whiites SS13 kollektion havde et meget feminint og ladylike  ”feel” med klare lyse farver som blev brudt af de rå omgivelser i Whiites egen garage.9PR glæder sig til at få fingrene i kollektionen, der jo først vil være til rådighed næste sommer! Tålmodighed, tålmodighed, tålmodighed….Dont forget the goodiebaaaaaaaaag;)........9PR ønsker alle derude god modeuge!

Stella Nova butik i Illum

Onsdag d. 1 auguast slog Stella Nova dørene op til deres første butik i København.
